DST Embroidery Viewer ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application.

The app works primarily offline and only accesses embroidery design files (.dst) and folders that you explicitly select and grant access to.

To comply with Google Play policies and protect user privacy, the app uses Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF).

What this means:

  • The app does not request broad file access permissions such as MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE.

  • The app can only access folders that you manually choose using the "Add Folder" feature.

  • The app stores only the selected folder URI (system access reference) to remember your chosen folders.

  • The app reads only .dst embroidery files inside selected folders to display previews, thumbnails, stitch counts, and design dimensions.

You can revoke folder access anytime from your Android device settings.

3. Data Processing

  • All embroidery file processing happens locally on your device.

  • No embroidery files are uploaded to any server.

  • No user files are shared with third parties.

  • The app does not access personal photos, videos, contacts, messages, or other sensitive user data.

4. Advertising Services

This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may collect limited device-related information, such as:

  • Advertising ID

  • Device identifiers

  • Approximate diagnostic or advertising-related information

This information may be used by Google to:

  • Display and improve ads

  • Measure ad performance

  • Prevent fraud and abuse

We do not use additional third-party analytics or tracking SDKs beyond advertising services required by AdMob.
